J. Miguel Costa

J. Miguel Costa is Assistant Professor at the School of Agriculture, University of Lisbon, and researcher at LEAF research center. He is an Agronomist (University of Tr�s-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Portugal) with an MSc in Sustainable Agriculture and Horticulture from ISA and holds a PhD. awarded by the Wageningen University, on �Plant Ecology and Resource Conservation�. His research has been focused on grapevine stress ecophysiology, grapevine phenotyping and stress monitoring as well as on sustainable issues of viticulture/horticulture (e.g. water use, circularity). JMC co-authored more than 50 publications (ISI Journals, international book chapters, books and proceedings), as well as multiple technical papers focused on stress physiology, thermography and sustainability issues in modern viticulture and horticulture.
