Maria Victoria Alarc�n

Maria Victoria Alarc�n has a degree in Biology from the University of Valencia and PhD in Biology and Master in Advanced Biotechnology from the University of Extremadura. She is a researcher in Cell Biology and Microscopy in the Area of Agronomy of woody and horticultural crops at the Institute of Agricultural Research Finca La Orden-Valdesequera of Centre for Scientific and Technological Research of Extremadura (CICYTEX). Head of the Cell Biology and Microscopy Laboratory (LBCM), she has participated in projects on the histological and cellular response of crops to different stresses (biotic and abiotic) as well as on the influence of plant hormones on root development.
