Margarida Vaz has a degree in Applied Plant Biology at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. She has a Master in Forest Sciences at School of Agriculture and a PhD in Biological Sciences at the University of �vora. Currently, she is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of �vora and Integrated Researcher at MED, Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development. She participates in several projects aimed at sustainable management of irrigation of crops in the Alentejo.
